Vietnamese Youth Leaders Program

Vision Statement:

Our vision for the MHT Youth Leaders Program is to provide a safe and encouraging community of belongingness that empowers youth to discover and proclaim God’s love and their belief in Christ, so that they may become compassionate disciples serving as positive change in the world.


Mission Statement Prayer:

Dear God our Father, We thank you for this wonderful Youth Leaders family. We strive to build a community of belonging, believing, and becoming. Help us O Lord. Amen.


Pillars and Associating Projects/Events

  • Belonging – We are a community that makes youth feel welcome, loved, accepted, and cared for
    • Weekly meetings to build community among youth
    • Cultural learning
    • Community events
      • Mid-Autumn Festival
  • Believing – We journey together to grow spiritually as a Christ-center group in search for God
    • Workshops to learn about and deepen our own faith
    • Annual Retreats
      • Advent
      • Lent
      • Incendio
  • Becoming – We challenge youth to make differences in the world through charity work, serving brothers and sisters on the margin. We empower youth to be the best version of themselves in their mission through personal development
    • Supporting the Vietnamese Faith Formation Program as teacher assistants (TAs)
    • Participate in liturgy team during mass
    • Annual Socks Drive 
    • Vacuum for Christ – Lent fundraiser
