Pastor’s Weekly Reflection

This weekend we hear in the Gospel of Matthew that God knows how many hairs are on our head. Counting mine should be an easy task for God because I do not have that many left. However, let’s not take it literally because it is not about how many hairs are on a person’s head. I do not think that is one of God’s interests. The reference to the hair on our head is about God’s greatness and closeness to us. God knows us intimately. God is so close to us that there is nothing that we can conceal from God’s greatness.
