Sacrament of the Eucharist/First Communion

Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.” John 6:53

Communion, or the Sacrament of the Eucharist, is the heart of our Faith. Through this sacrament we receive Jesus entirely (Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity).  All we are as Catholics flow from the Eucharist.

How old is the person?

Our program is two-year preparation process. The first year of preparation students will be learning getting to know Jesus, the Church, Community and Moral Values etc. The second year of preparation students will learn about the Sacraments of initiation, Reconciliation, Eucharist, the Creed, etc. Families are asked to participate actively in formation sessions at the same time as the students received their classes. These faith formation sessions (please see calendar) are designed to have a better understanding and appreciation of the Sacrament of the Eucharist, faith, moral, etc
