Santo Niño Novena 2025

Diocesan Council of Filipino Catholics and Samahang Filipino of MHT invite you to the 9-day Santo Niño Novena 2025.

Join us in a spiritual celebration honoring the Sto. Niño. Each day will feature novena prayer and Mass at different parishes.

About Santo Nino, or Holy Child, symbolizes the infancy of Jesus and His presence in our lives. The devotion began in the 16th century when the Spaniards gifted the first Santo Niño statue to the Queen of Cebu. While rooted in Europe, Filipinos have embraced the Santo Niño deep fervor, celebrating with religious and cultural traditions. Filipino immigrants have since brought this devotion to the United States, where the Santo Niño remains a source of spiritual guidance and protection.

Diocesan Mass before the Walk for Life

Please join Bishop Cantu at St. John Vianney Parish for our 8:00am Diocesan Mass before the Walk for Life West Coast event on January 25, 2025.

(St. John Vianney parish has another large event on the same day and requests that all participants arrive for Mass in their bus to save on parking spaces).

This isn’t just a walk; it’s a powerful statement!

The Walk for Life is a simple yet impactful way to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. By walking alongside others who cherish the sanctity of human life, we demonstrate our unwavering support and build a strong, compassionate community.
